Echoes In Time! SOON!!!
AQUMN Nr. 015
Aqumn Records... presents "Echoes In Time”, a retrospective exploring years of remix culture, reinterpretations and evolving sound design.
Rather than a traditional compilation or "Best Of", this release tells the story of tracks that have continuously evolved through new ideas, studio sessions and fresh perspectives. It brings together remastered versions, rare edits and a selection of remixes by “Marco Wellisch” and his progressive alter ego “BoxNoise”, documenting a creative journey across Progressive House, Minimal and Techno.
Every remix captures a specific moment in time. Some remained hidden in studio archives, others found their place on dance floors around the world. Together, they reveal how a track can transform over the years while preserving its original identity.
A special moment is the remastered "Crunchy Ibiza" Edit, created together with the late “Ramin”*. Included as a tribute, it preserves one shared creative moment that continues to resonate through the music.
Rather than looking back with nostalgia,*Echoes In Time” celebrates artistic evolution. It reflects how ideas are revisited, reshaped and refined over time, proving that electronic music is never truly finished. It simply keeps evolving.
With “Echoes In Time”, Aqumn Records, presents not a compilation, but a musical archive of remixes, reinterpretations and sonic memories spanning years of creative work. All original tracks on this release were created over 20 years ago and have been carefully remastered for this special retrospective edition.

WE ARE FAMILY
AQUMN Nr. 014
BoxNoise is known for exploring a wide range of electronic music styles rather than following a single formula. "We Are Family" is a refreshed version of an older production that has been carefully updated while preserving its original character. Small adjustments to the arrangement, sound design, and mix have given the track new energy without changing its identity. The result is a catchy Breakbeat groove with a timeless feel that reflects the creative freedom of the BoxNoise project.

CASH CASH CASH
AQUMN Nr. 012
"Cash Cash Cash" by BoxNoise is an ambitious fusion of Electronic, Disco, Funk, Soul, and Blues that immediately stands out through its bold concept and memorable title. Centered around one of the most universal themes in modern society, money and the pursuit of success, the track promises both dancefloor energy and artistic character.
Drawing inspiration from multiple musical traditions, SImN blends the infectious groove of funk, the uplifting spirit of disco, the emotional richness of soul, and the raw authenticity of blues within a contemporary electronic framework. This genre-crossing approach creates the potential for a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
The song's greatest strength lies in its identity. "Cash Cash Cash" is simple, catchy, and instantly recognizable, making it well suited for international audiences and digital platforms. Its title alone sparks curiosity while reinforcing a strong brand image.
Overall, "Cash Cash Cash" presents itself as a confident and creative release that bridges classic groove-driven music with modern electronic production. No Sleep Just Sins
AQUMN Nr. 011
Review: No sleep, just Sins by Marco Wellisch
A hybrid of Deep House, Funk/Soul, and Blues, the track builds a restrained electronic foundation and lets organic emotion bleed through it.
Deep House and Nu Disco define the structure: steady pulse, spacious mix, and a subtle late-night shimmer. Funk appears in the groove detail, especially in the guitar and percussion swing, giving the track a quiet physical bounce beneath its cold surface.
Soul and Blues enter through the vocal performance. The repetition turns into emotional phrasing rather than structure, carrying a Mississippi-like weight of exhaustion, confession, and memory. Lines like “The room is still cold” feel less like lyrics and more like a refrain stuck in lived experience.
The arrangement avoids big drops, instead moving in breath-like phases of presence and absence. The bridge breakdown emphasizes space as emotion, not emptiness.
Overall, it’s not a club-driven peak track, but a moody fusion piece where electronic precision and raw Southern soul tension coexist in a fragile balance.

BoxNoise
Orange Grid Theory
AQUMN Nr. 011
Some electronic albums are built like a DJ set. Others feel more like a collection of individual ideas and moods. The latest release from BoxNoise clearly belongs to the latter category.
Rather than locking itself into a single sound, the album moves freely between Minimal, Deep House, Tech House, Progressive House and Techno. What makes it interesting is that it never feels like it is chasing trends or trying to fit neatly into one scene. Instead, it follows its own path.
The tracks feel like snapshots taken from different moments and different nights. Some are deep and hypnotic, others groove-driven and energetic, while a few drift into more atmospheric territory. This constant change keeps the listening experience fresh from beginning to end.
One of the album's greatest strengths is its diversity. Every track brings a different character and mood. Instead of repeating the same formula over and over, BoxNoise explores multiple directions, creating an album that rewards both casual listening and deeper exploration.
The production balances minimalism with movement. Rolling rhythms, subtle melodic elements and carefully crafted textures create a sound that works equally well in a dark club, during a late-night drive, or through headphones at home.
What stands out most is its individuality. The album does not sound tied to any particular trend, city or movement. It feels personal and independent, driven by experimentation rather than expectation.
This is not a collection of obvious festival anthems, nor is it a rigid concept album. It is a journey through different shades of electronic music, connected by a shared sense of curiosity and creative freedom.

Back In Track
AQUMN Nr. 009
With Back In Track, BoxNoise returns after a creative break with a confident and focused comeback. The release marks a clear re-entry into the electronic music landscape, reaffirming the project’s identity with renewed energy and direction.
Musically, the record moves fluidly between progressive, techno, and house influences. Rather than committing to a single genre, it forms a hybrid electronic sound that balances driving rhythm, melodic depth, and atmospheric space. The result feels less like a collection of separate tracks and more like a continuous flow of evolving club energy.
At its core, Back In Track reflects a distinct artistic signature: BoxNoise combines club functionality with emotional resonance and a production style that works both on large dancefloors and in focused listening environments. The sound is raw yet precise, energetic yet melodic, creating a strong sense of identity throughout the release.
Rather than looking backward, the project frames this release as a forward-facing statement. The comeback is not nostalgic, but evolutionary, building on an established creative foundation while pushing it into a new phase.
In a broader context, the name BoxNoise has begun appearing in different regions under similar usage. Instead of engaging in external discussions, the project responds in its own language: music. The focus remains on output, consistency, and artistic presence.
Ultimately, Back In Track is defined by intent rather than category. It stands as a return shaped by clarity, sound, and character — a strong signal from BoxNoise in the space between progressive, techno, and house.

INSIDES!
AQUMN Nr. 008
|
|
|
|
MaWellie’s latest downtempo electronic release unfolds like a nocturnal journey through memory, desire, urban solitude, and fragmented dreams. Across eleven carefully sculpted tracks, Marco Wellisch creates an atmosphere that feels cinematic without becoming dramatic, emotional without drowning in sentimentality.
The album moves between warm analog textures, floating synth layers, restrained rhythmic structures, and intimate melodic details. Instead of chasing loud drops or club formulas, it builds a slow-burning emotional architecture. Every sound seems placed with patience, giving the listener space to drift inward.
There is a recurring feeling of movement throughout the record: night drives through illuminated cities, fading summer memories, emotional static between people, moments of beauty hidden inside exhaustion. Berlin lingers in the background like neon reflected on wet asphalt, while traces of Ibiza-like warmth occasionally cut through the colder electronic surfaces.
What makes the release stand out is its balance between melancholia and elegance. Even darker themes never become oppressive. The production remains airy, fluid, and hypnotic, often resembling a stream of consciousness translated into sound design.
MaWellie avoids overproduction and instead trusts atmosphere, repetition, and emotional tension. The result is a deeply immersive downtempo experience that feels equally suited for late-night headphones, reflective travel, or quiet hours after the world has gone to sleep.
This is electronic music that does not demand attention aggressively. It pulls the listener in slowly, like distant lights appearing through fog.

ELEKTRO ASSI EA - MaWellie DARK APRIL!
AQUMN Nr. 006
EP Review: Dark April EA & MaWellie
Dark April marks the debut of EA & MaWellie, blending Electro-Pop, Synth-Wave, and New Wave into an emotionally charged, accessible sound. The EP moves effortlessly between atmospheric tracks and danceable club arrangements, balancing melancholy with catchy, radio-ready melodies while exploring themes of loss, trauma, and inner conflict.
The title track, Dark April, is carried by the expressive female vocals of grinsktze, serving as the emotional centerpiece of the release. Chrome in the Dark and other tracks featureing A.N.L VLKN a Kollektive from Berlin, while City Walker stands out as a purely instrumental piece, highlighting hypnotic, atmospheric textures. Glas Klar combines hallucinatory soundscapes with classic synth textures, modern Electro-House elements, Acid lines, and TB-303/TR-808 sounds to convey inner turmoil and fractured perception.
Technically polished, stylistically versatile, and both introspective and danceable, Dark April strikes a compelling balance between pop accessibility and emotional depthâ”serving as a strong debut for EA & MaWellie, with a subtle musical tribute to M. K. alias Samui.

Marco Wellisch The Magic Cabaret!
AQUMN Nr. 005
Marco Wellisch The Magic Cabaret!
The Magic Cabaret! is less a traditional album and more a window into Marco Wellisch’s inner world. Rather than following a linear story, it presents a selection of tracks from the past ten years—pieces that have stayed close to him and shaped his artistic identity. This is not a random compilation, but a carefully chosen, deeply personal cross-section of his sonic universe.
Shifting between techno, minimal, and downbeat, the release exists far from standard club formulas. There are moments where the beat almost vanishes, letting textures, atmospheres, and subtle details take the lead. It is techno—but not driven by impact. Instead, it drifts, evolves, and breathes. Ambient elements merge with minimal-progressive ideas without ever settling into a fixed structure.
What makes the record particularly compelling is its lack of a clear narrative. Some tracks feel like fleeting sketches, others like fully realized statements. This contrast creates a unique tension—focused not on functionality, but on mood and exploration, including quieter and more unsettling shades.
Wellisch stays true to his artistic voice: distinctive, occasionally challenging, and never entirely predictable. His music does not seek to please—it simply exists on its own terms.
The Magic Cabaret! is not designed for instant gratification. It invites the listener to slow down, to drift, and to engage with its layers. Suspended somewhere between the club and the mind, this release reveals its depth precisely within that space.

EA - YES!
AQUMN Nr. 001
Album Description
This album isn’t just a collection of tracks—it’s a 16-part sonic wave of sound, energy, and chaos. Drum & Bass collides with Post-Techno, Electro pulses with Punk attitude, and breakbeats slice through melodies, while vocals flash like sparks: playful, dark, electrifying.
From hard-hitting moments to floating passages, from aggressive energy to delicate melodies—each track is a storm on its own and part of a bigger, continuous ride. The album carries you, throws you, lets you breathe, then hits you again with raw intensity.
And this is just the beginning. Many more tracks are coming, including co-productions with A.N.L.VLKN, Grinsktz, MC Illtis, and other surprises. The wave grows, the universe keeps exploding.

TV IS THE NEW GOD-
AQUMN Nr. 003
OUT NOW… EA – TV IS THE NEW GOD AQUMN No. 003
Review: EA – TV is The New God
TV is The New God feels less like an album and more like a fragmented film – glitchy, reflective, and constantly shifting. EA moves between atmospheric downtempo and raw drum & bass, creating a tension between introspection and forward drive.
Tracks like “Dust and Memories” and “Do Ya Luve Me” drift in a nostalgic haze, while “Dogs Should Not Cry” and “And The Beats Going On” inject restless energy. Nothing feels over-polished – more like deliberately sketched ideas than finished statements.
Conceptually, the album revolves around media as a controlling force, with titles like “The Program” and “NOW” hinting at a larger, underlying narrative.
Conclusion: A dense, experimental collage that balances emotion, critique, and rhythm. Not linear, not immediately accessible – but compelling when given space to unfold.

MarsMadeMan Land After Tomorrow
AQUMN Nr. 002
Album Review: MarsMadeMan – Land After Tomorrow
Land After Tomorrow is a meditative journey through sonic landscapes that oscillate between introspective calm and subtle electronic momentum. MarsMadeMan crafts an atmosphere where time and space seem to dissolve: warm synth textures, gentle beats, and drifting layers create a harmonious soundscape that soothes while inviting reflection.
The album feels like an exploration of both inner and outer worlds—a quiet dialogue between human emotion and technological sound, between the present and the future. Despite its electronic foundation, it never loses its emotional resonance: each element is carefully balanced to evoke a sense of melancholy, hope, and subtle euphoria.
Land After Tomorrow encourages the listener to lean back and immerse themselves in soundscapes that feel simultaneously familiar and otherworldly. It’s a work that doesn’t shout, but quietly convinces, caressing the senses while sparking contemplation. For fans of downtempo and electronica, this album offers a compact yet emotionally rich experience—an example of how electronic music can dream in the present.

A FUNK MACHINE
AQUMN Nr. 004
.Music Review: BoxNoise – A Funk Machine
SImN delivers a refreshing take on French House that focuses less on peak-time club impact and more on melody, atmosphere, and feel-good energy.
The tracks blend disco-inspired warmth with modern electronic production. Analog synthesizers, filtered house grooves, Rhodes chords, and distinctive vocoder vocals create a sound that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. Rather than chasing massive drops or festival-style intensity, these songs are built around movement, emotion, and accessibility.
Funk Machine offers even more personality. It creates a colorful world somewhere between house music, disco, and electronic pop. Repetitive vocal phrases, warm grooves, and a strong sense of identity give the track a lasting charm. The combination of machine-like vocals and organic musical elements feels distinctive and engaging.
What makes this release particularly appealing is its versatility. These are songs designed for movement and enjoyment, whether heard during a summer drive, on a sunset playlist, at a rooftop gathering, or on a relaxed dancefloor.
Verdict: SImN successfully combines French House aesthetics with pop sensibility, resulting in music that feels uplifting, memorable, and effortlessly enjoyable.
