Rather than a traditional compilation or "Best Of", this release tells the story of tracks that have continuously evolved through new ideas, studio sessions and fresh perspectives. It brings together remastered versions, rare edits and a selection of remixes by “Marco Wellisch” and his progressive alter ego “BoxNoise”, documenting a creative journey across Progressive House, Minimal and Techno.

Every remix captures a specific moment in time. Some remained hidden in studio archives, others found their place on dance floors around the world. Together, they reveal how a track can transform over the years while preserving its original identity.

A special moment is the remastered "Crunchy Ibiza" Edit, created together with the late “Ramin”*. Included as a tribute, it preserves one shared creative moment that continues to resonate through the music.

Rather than looking back with nostalgia,*Echoes In Time” celebrates artistic evolution. It reflects how ideas are revisited, reshaped and refined over time, proving that electronic music is never truly finished. It simply keeps evolving.

Across eleven carefully sculpted tracks, Marco Wellisch creates an atmosphere that feels cinematic without becoming dramatic, emotional without drowning in sentimentality.

The album moves between warm analog textures, floating synth layers, restrained rhythmic structures, and intimate melodic details. Dark April marks the debut of EA & MaWellie, blending Electro-Pop, Synth-Wave, and New Wave into an emotionally charged, accessible sound. The EP moves effortlessly between atmospheric tracks and danceable club arrangements, balancing melancholy with catchy, radio-ready melodies while exploring themes of loss, trauma, and inner conflict.

The title track, Dark April, is carried by the expressive female vocals of grinsktze, serving as the emotional centerpiece of the release. Chrome in the Dark and other tracks featureing A.N.L VLKN a Kollektive from Berlin, while City Walker stands out as a purely instrumental piece, highlighting hypnotic, atmospheric textures.
